I am a chartered accountant from Dublin, where I still live (on weekends). I commute to London every Monday morning and return to Dublin on Friday where I live with my wife and four daughters. I have also lived in Spain, Australia and Canada. I trained as an accountant at Deloitte after graduating from Dublin City University and since then I received an MBA from IESE in Barcelona and a Diploma in Insolvency from Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Before joining Ocean, I have worked in a variety of roles mainly connected to private equity or with a corporate finance connection. I have led company restructurings, arrangement of debt, equity financing, stock exchange listings, acquisitions, disposals, trade union negotiations and liquidations. I have worked in industries including IT, publishing, sports and leisure, hospitality, construction and fuel distribution. I was introduced to Ocean by its shareholder Lonsdale Capital Partners having worked with Lonsdale in a previous role.
